Fencing had a strong performance at the NCAA Northeast Regionals on March 9 before heading to the NCAA championships beginning on March 20.
Fencing finished its regular season last Wednesday, hosting the George Kolombatovich Historical Meet. With six victories to close out their campaign, the Lions ended the season with a 33-2 record for the women’s team and a 29-3 record for the men.
Men’s and women’s fencing fell short of clinching the Ivy League championship this weekend, finishing in second place.

She was set to face the Italians, a longtime dominant force in world fencing with two world champions on their team.
PARIS—Jackie Dubrovich, CC ’16, and her teammates took home Olympic gold from the women’s foil fencing team event on Thursday night. Her victory marks a historic moment for the United States, as it is the country’s first-ever gold medal in the team foil event.
