although I come from a well educated family most with PHD's from elite universities worldwide I believe economic inequality is problematic and getting worst every year; the top 1% in the US earns 21% of the total income in US; furthermore many tax laws ie. capital gain taxes;
carry forward losses and others benefit wealthy people more; some of the highest concentration of wealth in the world is in the US; at some point the economy will tip greatly becasue the 70% consumer ratio spendng can not be maintained
