On Monday, The Eye editors squeezed into our tiny, mint green office to take a staff picture (see the back cover). Space was tight and the editors were forced, as per my demands, to squeeze in and smile.

“Deserve Victory!” The poster reads backward through the mirror in my bedroom. I wake and find Winston Churchill’s round face and stubby finger pointing at me. I whip off my covers like a Band-Aid, walk over to the dresser, and set clothes on the bed.

When I saw the news, I almost spat coffee all over my computer screen. I just about literally jumped for joy. I definitely squealed and jittered and damn near wore out Facebook’s “Share” function.
