The Columbia men's baseball team saw opposite ends of two sweeps this weekend, as it hosted Dartmouth and Harvard to begin conference play. The Lions struggled against the Big Green on Saturday but dominated the Crimson on Sunday, giving up just two runs between the two games.

Look, we all got hammered in our March Madness pools this year. Even Shaka Smart only had VCU winning the play-in game. But luckily, we don’t simply have ourselves to blame for our poor performances—we can also point the finger at ESPN, Yahoo, and CBS Sports themselves!

The Columbia lacrosse team was defeated by Penn this weekend. The Lions fell behind early and were not able to catch up.

The Columbia men's tennis team struggled this weekend, as it lost to both Dartmouth and Harvard in its first weekend of conference play. It is the first time in 10 seasons in which the team will conclude with a losing record for the year.

The Columbia men's lightweight rowing team placed last in all of its events besides the Freshman Eights in both of its meets this weekend. The women's rowing team swept Bucknell in its home opener. The Columbia softball team fell to both Dartmouth and Harvard to begin Ivy League play.

Junior Sharay Hale was the only Lion to travel to the Florida Relays, finishing 8th in the 400m and 16th in the 200m. The rest of the Columbia track team went to the Sam Howell Invitational, where it saw both men and women top finishers.

The Columbia women's tennis team battled against Dartmouth and were dominated by Harvard this weekend, but dropped both matches. Doubles play was a strength for the Lions especially against the Big Green.
