This August’s Columbia Urban Experience participants will live together after students in last year’s program expressed frustration with their housing accommodations.
CUE’s success as a pre-orientation program open to all four undergraduate schools should indicate to Barnard and COÖP that including BC students would be a positive step.
After students expressed dissatisfaction with housing changes during this year’s Columbia Urban Experience pre-orientation program, the group’s new leaders are hoping to discuss potential changes to next year’s program.
A group of Columbia LGBT students, allies, and administrators traveled upstate for several days of discussion and community building last weekend.
“There are no words, nor songs that any of us may sing to express what you meant to this world,” a friend wrote on his Facebook wall, along with dozens of other posts.
