Christine Kovich recently launched the West-Harlem based initiative called HYPOTHEkids, which focuses on making science, technology, engineering, and math education more available for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
West Harlem scientists, politicians, and professors are busy turning their neighborhood into a haven for biotechnology start-up companies.
The Harlem Garage, at Frederick Douglass Boulevard and 118th Street, will rent out 6,000 square feet of office space to businesses in the neighborhood when it opens in July, providing space for about 150 workers.
