Room selection is a stressful process (so much so that we have to talk about it several times in January). If you’re a first-year dreading sophomore housing, or an upperclassman missing a group, there may be another solution for you.

Coming from someone who didn’t want to live in sophomore housing (and didn’t have a large enough group for Nuss; tragic, I know), I get how stressful room selection can be.

With lottery numbers coming out today at 9:00 p.m. you'll be scouring the Shaft's floor plans, eliminating potentially crappy dorms. But don't write them off so quickly, overlooked dorms often have great advantages. Check it out!
