After another weekend of meets, Princeton, Yale, and Harvard are the only women’s swimming and diving teams that remain undefeated in the Ivy League. Princeton secured its fourth win over Dartmouth on Sunday, while Harvard topped Brown on Saturday. Yale was not triumphant this past weekend, losing to Navy, but still remain undefeated within the league.

The women’s swimming and diving team will compete in its annual Homecoming meet this afternoon against Cornell. Having beat Bucknell 129-114 in an away meet last Sunday, the Lions head into the dual meet against their Ancient Eight rival with an overall record of 3-2 (1-2 Ivy). The Light Blue hopes to improve its record in the Ivy League to 2-2 with a triumph over the Big Red.

Tomorrow, the men’s swimming and diving team is bringing the competition back to campus with its 2010 homecoming meet against Cornell. This year, on its home turf, the Light Blue will have to fight hard to try and avenge last year’s 167-122 loss to the Big Red up in Ithaca. Columbia enters the weekend with a 4-2 overall record on the season (1-2 Ivy).

After a six-week break from competition, the Columbia men’s swimming and diving team returned to the pool this past Sunday in a dual meet against the Bucknell Bison. The men emerged victorious, winning all but two events and trouncing the Bison 158-83 in their first meet of 2010.

The women’s swimming and diving team won its first meet of the spring semester on Sunday night, topping Bucknell 129-114 in Lewisburg, Penn. This advances the Lions’ overall record to 3-2 for the season.
