Senior guard Grant Mullins has opted to join California in the Pac-12 for his fifth year of eligibility.

Senior guard Grant Mullins has decided to play at UC Berkeley beginning next fall, after earning an NCAA waiver for a fifth-year of eligibility this past February, according to ESPN

The Ontario native took officials visits to Syracuse, Michigan, and California over the past couple of weeks before settling on the Golden Bears of the Pac-12.

Mullins set career-highs with 13.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per contest in 2015-16, his first full season of action in nearly two years after suffering head and neck injuries in February 2014.

ESPN ranked Mullins as the seventh-best transfer and the best immediately-eligible point guard on the market.

A Columbia Athletics spokesperson declined to comment on the report.
