Researchers at the University of California Irvine have discovered the most useful thing ever: how to unboil an egg. Hoping to hear some wise words from the man himself, I met up with Mr. Egg, the mayor of Ferris Booth Egg Village, to discuss the impacts of this discovery. He shares some of his golden wisdom on the benefits of "unboiling" for both Columbia students and Eggs.
Hello Mr. Egg, what are your thoughts on the unboiling discovery?
Well, I am absolutely thrilled that the scientists have figured out a way to restore us Eggs to our youth. It's always very hard on the Boiled Eggs when they discover the lack of fluidity in their skin. It's a sure sign of hard aging.
How does this discovery impact the larger world of Ferris Booth County?
At the end of the day, we often have many leftover Boiled Eggs in the Egg Village, but not enough Red Velvet Cake in the Dessert Village due to Liquid Egg shortages. With this new discovery, we can now unboil the leftover eggs and make more Red Velvet Cake. Our Eggs are always much happier being in harmony with the Desserts.
In what direction do you think the unboiling invention will go next?
I think the unboiling invention will go on to target Columbia students. You know, they're going to make something that can help "unboil" negative things in student life.
So what would an "unboiling" invention for Columbia students do?
Oh, it'd probably be capable of lots of undoing. You could use it to unsend drunk Snapchats and texts, maybe even undo those drunk calls. Hmm, you could uneat that tub of ice cream or Koronets pizzas or Insomnia cookies too. Other functions like undoing bad grades or wrong exam answers are not bad either.
