Despite the trajectory of the newspaper industry, there's still a lot of you out there who like to pick up Spec in print. Maybe it's the feeling of flipping through a hard copy, or maybe you'd rather not scroll through the news on your phone while you're eating. And for a lot of you, it's so that you can solve the crossword puzzle we run on the classifieds page.
Spec has been syndicating the Los Angeles Times puzzle for years, but today we're pleased to announce we'll be changing things up every Friday. And to start us off, we've got the most famous name in crosswords, Will Shortz, to edit the first puzzle.
