In order to raise money for its upcoming project, “A Certain Tendency,” For Dad Films, the undergraduate production company founded last fall by eight Columbia students, will be holding a fundraiser tonight at ADP.
For the event, For Dad Films collaborated with Double Exposure, Columbia’s undergraduate film journal, and several on-campus bands and musicians, such as Star and the Sea and Flaxo.
One of For Dad Films’ founding members, Katie Donahoe, BC ’16, said, “We thought, ‘If there are film people like us who wanted an outlet, there are probably other people, other groups of different artists who are like that.’ Double Exposure was our way of getting artists involved. It’s a concert, so we had to get musicians involved.”
