First-year Chelsea Griffin’s fish is still missing. The red beta fish, aptly named "Fishy," was reported missing as early as two weeks ago, on the night of February 26th.
Chelsea has left out fish food outside her John Jay 6 door since then, just in case the thief doesn't have any with which to feed Fishy.
Apparently, while she left her door slightly ajar for a while, someone snuck in Chelsea's room and stole only the fish, leaving the fishbowl intact.
Since then, the search for Fishy has taken to the World Wide Web --- #FindFishy.
WHO STOLE FISHY? #FindFishy

We're not sure if it really is Fishy who's taken to Columbia Admirers to share how he feels... a problem many on campus can relate to this or this Columbia Admirer.
But, we received an update earlier this week that Chelsea has, with much reservation, moved on. See her letter to us below:
Unfortunately Fishy has not been returned to me, and I haven't any leads regarding his fishnapping. It's been a rough two weeks, but I believe it's time I let him go. My friends (and classmates) have been extremely supportive and comforting during this horrible time of distress, and for that I wish to thank them. Despite the jokes that have ensued due to Fishy's untimely disappearance, I still believe this should be taken as a serious matter. I love Columbia, don't get me wrong, but the fact that a person who would steal an innocent fish attends this institution makes me a little sick. Please, can't we all just get along? We're brilliant, for goodness sake!
