Home for the holidays: Spring break edition

Home for the holidaze? It’s not all bad. “I just really want to get out of Morningside Heights and explore the city without having to worry about work!”---we’ve all had this exact thought at some point, but past experience shows that saying it is a lot easier than actually doing it. Here are some NYC sights worth exploring this break, or whenever you happen to have a spare few hours.

The St. Patrick's Day parade: Even as a part-Irish native New Yorker, I have never attended this parade. You should, however, because parades are fun and you can wear green. It will probably be the wildest frat party you’ve ever been to.

Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge/Walk on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade: Best view ever/best view ever. The good news is, the promenade is relatively close to the bridge (on the Brooklyn end).
