1. Zak Kirstein and Jason Nuñez

Zak Kirstein (SEAS '16) from Bethesda, Md., and Jason Nuñez (CC '16) from Tijuana, Mexico are proof that opposites do attract, even if their relationship is based off stereotypes and frat life. These roomies did not request each other and had apprehensions about rooming together even after their first encounter.
Zak found Jason’s apparent interest in John Mayer “pretty alarming,” and similarly, Jason questioned Zak’s “mass murderer” status for quite some time. However, after establishing that Jason does, in fact, speak English, and that Zak’s “nice family” would never allow him to go on a killing streak, the two decided to stick together and embark upon their journey through college together. Soon Zak became smitten by Jason’s “'Nacho Libre' impression,” and Jason became enticed by Zak’s fanciful talks about Greek life and rugby.
Despite being “the cockiest motherfucker [Jason has] ever met,” Zak has agreed to room with Jason again next year in order to continue their trend of making “every moment more special than the last.”
