There's a new Executive Vice President of Arts and Sciences, and it's David Madigan, chair of the statistics department. University President Lee Bollinger emailed the Faculty of Arts and Sciences an hour ago to let them know that Madigan will be taking on the position in an interim basis as the search committee process continues.
