That was the first-ever info session for FemSex—a peer-facilitated, not-for-credit biweekly seminar on female sexuality. Birthed at Columbia in fall 2011, FemSex’s roots go back to University of California, Berkeley in the early 1990s. It has since spread to other colleges, such as Cornell, Carleton, and Brown. I was a facilitator for FemSex in fall 2011, but have since then become unaffiliated with it.
