Amending the constitution: Last week, ESC closed its meeting to discuss constitutional amendments. The board passed three amendments---one removing the requirement that candidates seeking to run for election have to collect signatures before becoming eligible, one detailing that it is not allowed to harass voters, and one allowing the Joint Council Co-sponsorship Committee to approve appeals under $500 without full council approval. This week, the council closed off a portion of its meeting to discuss additional amendments.
