This past summer I went to volunteer at an orphanage in Tamil Nadu, India. That’s not the story I want to tell, though. All you need to know is that it didn’t end well: I got sick, started losing weight, and we’ll just say that my program wasn’t really run “as advertised.” When I came home to Indiana and recovered, I wrote and recorded an album of nine songs. That is the story.
