On Monday Columbia Professor and Chief Digital Officer Sree Sreenivasan gave a presentation on how to be social-media savvy. His tips ranged from how to get the most out of LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, to how to make an effective "uniform online persona" for employers, to how the use of bit.ly shortlinks is a mark of sophistication.

This guy. This guy knows what's up, using links like that. Give the man a beverage.
Because everyone is watching. Which in itself is not new information, but Sreenivasan---who styles himself as "Sree" for easy branding---was so helpful and affable and knowledgeable about how effectively a person can be found on the internet, being found on the internet became very real and sort of terrifying.
