This Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Generra has reason to celebrate. New creative director Swaim Hudson gave the breath of life— and fresh direction— to the iconic 80’s brand. Launching off of Generra’s heritage of closet staples, Hudson’s own unique aesthetic didn’t disappear. Formerly of the much adored but shuttered Obedient Sons & Daughters, Hudson lent his signature funky tailoring and keen eye for masculine/feminine subversion to his latest venture. The result felt like spring-cleaning.
