In a penthouse amidst the famed New York City skyline, Iodice outfitted mannequins in effortless pieces, ideal for any glam-girl on the go. “The sea” Iodice explained to me with his heavy Italian accent, “was my inspiration: the pearls, the flowers under the sea, the monochromatic colors.” All elements of Iodice’s Summer 2010 collection are in fact representative of the water: the drapery and movement of the pieces give the effect of waves moving through water, with none of its weight.
