Today, Robert Pippin, a philosophy professor at the University of Chicago, will visit Columbia to hold a lecture titled “Who Cares Who Shot Liberty Valance?: The Prosaic and the Heroic in John Ford’s Film,” hosted by the Heyman Center for Humanities.
