Spring has sprung. Should we, students situated in a temperate climate, spring, too? Is the nicer weather but a fair weathered friend?
To be sure, there is plenty worthy of commendation in the changing of the seasonal guards. For one, we can actually be outside for more than five miserable minutes at a time. We can skip out of doors, secure in our selves and our climate, surrounded by our animal friends who have finally found the courage to come out of hibernation. We are free of the precipitation paranoia. We can shed our parkas and peacoats, all the way down to a thin layer of clothing, to shine brilliantly under the springtime sun. It's just a better time to be alive.
