Spotted: a flock of film trucks setting up on 114th Street just outside of Carman. The purpose? Unclear. Members of the film crew were decidedly tight-lipped when Spectrum staff went over to investigate. But there are signs that these guys are here to stay: notices reserving parking spaces for a "Film Shoot" between March 23 and March 25 have been posted along 114th street.
Update 2:57 p.m.: A tipster who works at the Earth Institute has told us the crew is setting up to film and broadcast Thursday's big State of the Planet event in Lerner. Photos, video, and more details after the jump.
