Columbians live in one of the biggest shopping cities in the world, especially if you’re shopping for fakes and imitations. Fake designer merchandising is an international, multi-million dollar business, and, most importantly, an illegal one that violates copyright laws, trademark laws, and trademark infringement. Whether tourists brandishing fake Louis Vuitton are iconic or infuriating is a matter of opinion, but the legality of counterfeiting is not.
