The Paley Center for Media: Butler for TV addicts

In this week's installment of "Culture Pill," Logan Hofstein checks out the Paley Center for Media, which houses an extensive collection of TV shows, past and present.

Before there was Hulu, YouTube, or DVDs, there was the Paley Center for Media. Well, technically, there was the Museum of Broadcast, which was renamed the Museum of Television and Radio, and then it was renamed again the Paley Center for Media for its founder, William Paley. Each new name reflected the changing world around it—the first was to include the invention of satellite, and the second change was to include the new-media outlets of Hulu and YouTube.
