On April Fool’s Day, Columbians should keep in mind that although it seems like most of us spend more nights in Butler than exploring the city, our campus is not devoid of humor. Columbia’s own Prangstgrüp, founded in 2001, was famous for its absurd comedy in the form of practical jokes and performances around campus, all of which was caught on hidden camera and streamed on the internet. Although currently inactive, Prangstgrüp remains one of Columbia’s prized legacies as it filled our libraries, lecture halls, grasses and even subway cars with its typical, laughable confusion.
