Columbia icon reflects on path to Hall of Fame

Columbia athletics has seen its fair share of sports icons. The first that comes to mind is the great Lou Gehrig, who is rumored to have hit a home run that landed on the steps of Low Library. Today, a fan favorite became a hall of famer—our beloved mascot Roar-ee was welcomed into the Mascot Hall of Fame. Roar-ee may not have hit any home runs, but his never-ending drive to pump up the crowd is remarkable all the same.
