Last night, for the third time in four years—that's not an April Fool's joke—I went to the National Invitation Tournament Championship at Madison Square Garden. The University of Dayton claimed their first NIT title since 1968 by knocking off the UNC Tar Heels (yes, the UNC Tar Heels), 79-68, in a game much more exciting than the score indicates.
