Color Blind Date

In a small, rather cramped corner of An Choi, a Vietnamese restaurant on the Lower East Side, beneath makeshift Vietnamese lanterns, and next to a photo montage of frowning Vietnamese people in conical Vietnamese hats, there is a first-aid poster duct-taped to an exposed brick wall that says, in English:

Choking occurs when a foreign objects becomes lodged in the throat or windpipe, blocking the flow of air. The universal sign for choking is hands clutched to the throat.
