Columbia film studies undergraduates spend day and night in movie theaters and dark classrooms, learning to embrace international and diverse cinema. But what undergraduates may not be paying much attention to is the emergence of an increasingly international student body at the School of the Arts’ film M.A. and M.F.A programs. The programs include students as diverse as the great international cinematic masters themselves—and perhaps someday they will be among the ranks.
