I haven't seen it yet, but apparently the good people of John Jay Dining Hall have put up a sign asking students engaging in "patio dining" (that's fancy talk for eating outdoors) to refrain from throwing their plates and utensils in the trash.
"Over the past two days we have found thousands of dollars worth of John Jay plates, bowls, cups, and silverware in the outdoor trash cans and gardens. These are costs we will have to pass on to students...
