Due to Iceland's pesky smoke and ash, virtuouso violinist Eric Silberger, a third year in the Barnard-Columbia-Juilliard joint degree program and president of the Columbia Classical Performers, will not make it to Norway to represent the US in the 2010 Menuhin Violin Competition.
