In my constant attempt to find things to distract me from my CC final studying, I found this video on Ted.com. Though at first I suspected it to be another lame iteration of leadership/teamwork exercises, it turned out to be a rather compelling allegory for the summers that we are all on the verge of enjoying. In short, the video is a lecture by someone with the Marshmallow Challenge blog, which talks about the teamwork exercise in which individuals must team up to create a tower of spaghetti and tape with a marshmallow on top. What he found in various studies of this task was that recent business school grads did far worse than engineers or kindergartners.
