As many of you are aware, on Monday, May 3, we published on our editorial page an anonymous account of one student's experiences with Columbia's sexual assault policy. We received a lot of feedback in the ensuing days, both directly and through the comments section. Taking into consideration some of the concerns raised by readers, we have elected to add a brief response from Dean of Student Affairs Kevin Shollenberger and an updated editor's note that explains in more detail the privacy issues at stake.
