Paul Cronin is a film historian and documentary filmmaker working toward his Ph.D. at the Columbia Journalism School. He edited a series of interviews with German film director, Werner Herzog, and a collection of writings by British filmmaker Alexander Mackendrick. Currently he is working on A Time to Stir, a documentary film about the student protests at Columbia University in 1968. Portions of the film were screened last night in Roone Cinema. The Eye sat down with Cronin to discuss the work in progress.
