Charles Santoro, CC ’82, is managing partner and co-founder of Sterling Investment Partners, a private equity firm with more than $1 billion of equity capital. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Santoro was vice chairman of Paine Webber, managing director of Smith Barney, and is chairman of Fairway Markets, among other companies. At Columbia, Santoro currently sits on the Economic Advisory Council, the Manhattanville Ad Hoc Planning Committee, and the Athletics Campaign Leadership Committee, is a John Jay Award recipient, and is the lead donor for the new Columbia rowing center.
