Settling in

Classes have now been in session for a month, and I’m noticing an interesting change begin to take place.  As I assimilate into college life, places and experiences are starting to lose their enigmatic “newness.” I’ve found my own nook in Butler (3M04—the neat, personal mezzanine alcoves where you can sit surrounded by books like Women and the Alien Spirit), had my first Ham-Del hero at some ridiculous morning hour (eggplant parmesan), and given directions to tourists on campus who think I look like I belong here.
