After much discussion, Barnard's Student Government Association has decided how it will go about deciding whether to recognize Greek life. The winning option: a non-binding student poll through eBear.
The News desk's Madina Toure reports that this option involves "a non-binding student poll available through eBear during program filing. The student body poll will be followed by a Rep Council vote on Nov. 29. The results of the poll will be placed on the record. Students will choose one of two options: SGA votes to recognize Greek life as an organization, or SGA votes not to recognize it."
The two other options being considered were a binding student vote and a student survey compiled by the Greek Life Task Force.
