Joy Hirsch, professor of functional neuroradiology, neuroscience, and psychology, has got the inside scoop on one of the world's most beloved musicians, Yo Yo Ma. Hirsch is one of the neuroscience advisers for an exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History which focuses on brain imaging. In support of the new project, Ma will have a brain scan done in which he will listen to and watch a variety of his own performances. Hopefully this will illustrate how much more talented and special his brain is than ours, as if further proof is really needed.
