By no means a misnomer, Street Sweets makes sure there's no shortage of sugar in all non-savory items. To start off, the pumpkin whoopie pie delivers intense sweetness in a small package. The one-note sugary cream frosting is somewhat balanced out with the soft and airy pumpkin cake.
But its name does not reference the fact that Street Sweets does savory quite well too. Nicely seasoned salmon, dill, and a well placed tomato all infuse the egg mixture with a balanced flavor in one of their many mini quiche options. Unfortunately the truck's reheating method doesn't bode well for the firmness of the eggy filling and even worse for what was probably once a flaky crust.
