It's official—MoHi is a food cart destination. Or at least food carts are forced to pay attention to us uptownies instead of just concentrating on NYU-ville now that competition is so fierce. Either way, Korilla BBQ is parked on Amsterdam and 116th all day today, serving up its eclectic fare of Korean bbq in tacos, burritos, and so-called "chompers." It's like Mill meets Chipotle, but in a truck, and with an awesome tiger mascot. Sound weird? It is, but won't be for long. Korean taco trucks are already wildly popular in LA, and Korilla—which opened just a few weeks ago—will not be the only NYC one for long. Youngsun Lee recently announced he will be starting a kimchi taco truck in the coming weeks. Pics after jump.
