“I’m not a witch, I’m nothing you’ve heard. I’m you,” a woman recently said in response to a past accusation that she had “dabble[d] in witchcraft,” in a political advertisement. In a few weeks, that woman, Christine O’Donnell, may very well become the next senator of Delaware. Where did she come from? Thanks to the Tea Party movement, a plethora of candidates who would have been dismissed by party establishment in previous years are on the cusp of victory this election season.
