Senior captain and linebacker Alex Gross was named to the 2010 National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete class, making him one of just 16 student-athletes to receive the honor. Gross is now a finalist for the William V. Campbell trophy, given to the "best scholar-athlete in the nation."
