On Dec. 1, 2010, the much-anticipated musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark will open on Broadway at the Foxwoods Theater. A fitting home for the $50 million superhero-rock opera, the theater (recently purchased by Foxwoods Resort Casino, home of the world’s largest bingo hall) seats 1,932 patrons, promising each the most unabashedly grandiose experience the district has to offer—just as it always has.
