The Daily Beast published a thought-provoking article last week on the growing gender gap in education. Experts whom the Daily Beast interviewed point to a range of factors responsible for the deepening delinquency of boys, including video games, an absence of male role models, and "the main problem" of "an accelerated school curriculum that places a growing emphasis on sitting and verbalizing, when boys learn from moving and doing."
I think we're missing the point, though.
