Eye drop: where has all the tradition gone?

New York City isn't exactly the place to go if you're looking for the typical, traditional, or classic. Sure there are the annual events like the Rockefeller tree lighting, the New Year's ball drop, and the New York city marathon that have the faint ring of tradition, but even those seem to be steeped in commercial investments. So why then, should we expect Columbia to be any different? This week, The Eye explores where all the tradition has gone.
