Earlier this week, the Columbia College Student Council and Engineering Student Council both passed versions of a proposal that would grant CU-EMS (which includes CAVA) new space in Broadway and allow them to move from their current location in the Carman basement. With the councils passing different versions, though (ESC approved both Broadway 102 and 103, while CCSC gave the go-ahead only to 103), the proposal remains in limbo. While the Student Governing Board recently voted to recommend the move, on Wednesday, the Activities Board at Columbia voted the other way. Full email from ABC to the councils after the jump.
