Last semester, we took to a McBain kitchen with hops, yeast, and a dream to cook up The McBainery—a four-part series about our foray into beer-brewing in a rancid dorm kitchen. Now that Four Loko is going on the alcoholic endangered species list as a result of the state-wide ban, we revived this speakeasy spirit to try our hand at making our own Faux Loko, a bootleg version of the notorious heart attack in a can.
